Parent Workshop - Paired Reading
A big thank you to those parent/carers who were able to attend our Paired Reading Workshop. It was lovely to see so many of you there.
As explained during the workshop, Paired Reading is a technique to improve reading accuracy and fluency, comprehensions skills and motivation to read.
We have been using it in school with the children to promote a love of reading, and have found that it is already having an impact on confidence and the children's enjoyment of choosing books.
It would be great if you try some of the strategies at home.
