This week Forest schools session was a frosty one, but the children wrapped up warm and enjoyed a whole range of activities. We had children bug hunting, using crayons to make bark rubbings and making mud cakes. The children also enjoyed playing with all the new characters (cuddly toys) that had been exploring our forest Schools area.

The children are very excited about next week as they have been told there will be a fire and hot chocolate, it may be our last session for this term, but It's going to be an exciting one.

We had a fantastic first forest school session this week. There were lots of new and familiar activities for us to take part in. We loved using the new swing and had a go at making our own swing using the ropes. We also painted some trees with mud and caught some bugs. Check out some pictures of our fun below, including a picture of a nest some children in Tawny Owl Class made.
