We were thrilled to invite author and illustrator, Clara Vulliamy into school today to promote her new Dotty Detective series of books.  She gave us an insight into code writing using bananas, pink wafers and lemon juice which left us all excited to give them a go.    She impressed us with her drawing of Dotty and her much-loved dog McClusky  who is also very good at solving crimes!   Clara gave her drawings to the school which we will proudly hang in our library area.  Our visit concluded with over 70 children getting their Dotty Detective books personally signed by Clara.
