New to Reception Meetings -  September 2024

New to Reception 2024 Tours

We are looking forward to welcoming a new wave of parents and carers around our school for children due to start their Reception Year in September 2024.

We are passionate and proud of what we can offer children and their families and are very happy to answer any questions that you may have if you are considering sending your child to us.

The school is completing a number of tours during the following weeks: 

Dates for tours for September 2024:

11th October 2023 at 9.15am

19th October 2023 at 2pm

10th November 2023 at 9.15am

20th November 2023 at 9.15am 

12th January 2024 at 9.15am

We will be holding our Reception Talks event(s) in the hall and then parents/carers are invited to take part in a short tour of our school if they wish. 

We would love to show you around our fantastic school and invite you to submit this form to allow us to allocate a space for you/your family. We are able to also forward useful information about the school and the admissions process once you have visited us.

Applying for a place at BFIS

2024 to 2025 academic year

Applications for a primary (reception) school place starting September 2024 can be made between 6 November 2023 and 15 January 2024 (applications received after this date are considered late and will reduce your chance of being offered a place at your preferred school).

Offers will be sent to online applicants by email on 16 April 2024.

From 16 April 2024, if you applied online, you can log into your account to see your allocation.

Breakfast and Afterschool Club

For those parent/carers that are interested in our breakfast and after school club provision from September 2024, please complete the registration forms which can be collected from the joint school office (based at the Junior School).  These will also be available at our New to Reception Parent/Carer Welcome Meetings.
