Rabbit Class - Reception
This week in Rabbit Class
Our word of the week this week was Resilience, and we met Pete the Cat. He teaches us to be resilient and not worry if things do not go our way. We drew pictures of Pete and talked about why he is so cool!
Thank you to all of you who donated food and essentials for our Harvest celebrations this week. We enjoyed singing songs, we had a special Assembly in the hall. We have been thinking about children in our world who need help, and we have created some amazing art work with fruit and vegetables.
This week we have been learning the sounds p,i,n. We have practised writing our names on our name cards and used our robot arms to sound out words beginning with the sounds. Next week we will be looking at all the sounds we have learnt so far.
We have completed our fist learning in our maths learning journey this week. We have been ordering numbers to 5 and 10. Our teachers gave us a challenge too!
Please bring in named Wellington Boots for exploring in the garden when it is wet and muddy.
Please read at home with your child this weekend. You will be added to the reading game with your reads and may be awarded a certificate next week.
Well done to those children who have received another certificate this week.
