I became a co-opted Governor in March this year.
I live in Chelmer Village and have four children who have been or who are, pupils at the school (one who will hopefully join in 2019!).
I work part time at Broomfield Hospital; my work within corporate governance for the NHS provides some background knowledge and awareness for how governance can make a difference and was the driver for me in joining the Governing Body to help the school continue to thrive and improve.
I am very proud to be working with the Barnes Farm Infants Governing Board, alongside committed staff, parents and volunteers, to ensure that each child is nurtured to meet their own potential and achieve all they can achieve whilst at the school and beyond.
I am looking forward to the exciting times ahead for all the pupils at Barnes Farm Infant School!
