Barnes Farm Infant School

Building Futures, Inspiring Success

Rebecca Pascoe-Youell

I became a co-opted Governor in March 2016.

I live in Chelmer Village and have four children who have been or who are, pupils at the school (one will be joining the infants in 2019!).  My children are happy at school and always enjoy their days at Barnes Farm be it in the Infants or Junior school.

I work for the NHS at Broomfield Hospital with the Corporate governance team.   Working there for over 10 years has provided me with applicable background knowledge and awareness for how governance can make a difference to any organisation and was a driver for me in joining the Governing Body to help the school continue to thrive, improve and help provide all the children the school serves with excellent opportunities in all aspects of school life be it academically or otherwise.

I am very proud to be a parent at Barnes Farm and to be working alongside a like-minded team with the Barnes Farm Infants Governing Body.  We work with committed staff, parents and volunteers, to ensure that each child is nurtured to meet their own potential in all they do at school and achieve all they can achieve whilst at the school and beyond.
