Singing around the Christmas Tree

We decided to sell hot chocolate and cookies at the Singing around the Christmas Tree to raise money for school funds.  It was really popular and we made over £80.  Thank you to the Deputy Mayor of Chelmsford who came to hear our singing and share our festive cheer.

As School Council representatives, we have a very important job to do. We have been elected by our class to represent them during regular meetings with Mrs Speller. During these meetings, we discuss what is great about our school and how we can make it even better. We often have to take ideas back to our classes and discuss them, to then feedback and decide upon an agreed action.

In the atrium, we decided that the inside garden needed some TLC so we arranged a cake sale to raise some money to buy plants and pots.

Below are the minutes from our meetings last year.
