Building Futures, Inspiring Success

School Council 2017-2018

As School Council representatives we have a very important job to do. We have been elected by our class to represent them during regular meetings with Mrs Speller.

During these meetings we discuss what is great about our school and how we can make it even better. We often have to take ideas back to our classes and discuss them, to then feedback and decide upon an agreed action.

During the Autumn term we walked around the school to see how we could improve our learning environments.  We decided to tidy up the flower beds as some of the plants had been damaged so we secured them with more soil.  When we looked at the cloakrooms we thought the children needed to be reminded to hang up their coats so we designed posters to encourage classes to keep their cloakrooms tidier.

In the atrium we decided that the inside garden needed some TLC so have arranged a cake sale to raise some money to buy plants and pots.  Our cake sale is next week so watch this space!

Below are the minutes from our meetings this year.
