Thursday 18th June- International Picnic Day

June 18th every year is International Picnic Day.

The origins of International Picnic Day are unknown, however that doesn’t dampen it’s popularity, with many countries across the globe celebrating this event, and although this is more of a fun event rather than your typical fundraising awareness day, it doesn’t make it any less worthwhile celebrating. What better way to relax and get out and enjoy the summer weather than eating outside (or if it's raining, lunch picnic style in the living room!).

Sunday 21st June - World Music Day (La fête de la musique) 2020

A national holiday launched in 1982, became a major world music event. World Music Day is celebrated every year on June 21st. On this day, people are urged to go out and play music.  You could try making your own musical instrument and sending us a video of you playing it on SeeSaw or maybe listening to or singing your favourite song.
